Garden Fountain · ¥29,500
A natural-stone fountain paired with a planning consultation that covers placement, water supply, and the surrounding stonework — so that when it is sited, it looks as though it was always there.
What This Delivers
Water and stone together do something that neither achieves alone. The movement draws the eye without demanding it. The sound — present without being loud — changes how a garden feels in a way that's difficult to describe precisely and immediately noticeable in person.
A stone fountain placed well becomes the thing a garden is oriented around, even a large one. The planning consultation included here is specifically about getting that placement right — not as an afterthought, but as the first decision.
What Brought You Here
Some gardens are well planted, well maintained, and still feel as though something is missing. Often the missing thing is a point of rest — a reason to stop walking and stand somewhere in particular. A fountain does that. Not because it is decorative, but because water in motion gives a space a gravity it otherwise lacks.
The challenge with fountains is that placement makes the difference between one that transforms a garden and one that sits in it looking placed rather than belonging. Getting that right requires thinking about sightlines, access to water, the scale of the surrounding area, and how the stone will read against what's already there.
The planning consultation included here addresses those questions before a decision is made — so the fountain arrives at a space that's been considered for it, not adapted around it afterwards.
Situations This Suits Well
The Approach
The fountain itself is cut from natural granite — a basin and spout shaped for outdoor permanence. The stone is the same material used in our paving and planter sets, so it can sit within a broader scheme of stone without looking out of place.
The planning consultation addresses placement specifically: where in the garden to site it for visual effect, how to approach the water supply and pump, what base material the fountain will need to sit stably, and how the surrounding stonework can support it. This happens before anything is ordered or positioned — the consultation informs the project rather than following it.
The Fountain
Natural granite basin and spout. Finished for outdoor permanence. Dimensions and weight noted in the specification document included with the order.
The Consultation
A focused conversation about your garden — sightlines, water access, scale, and surrounding materials. Conducted before the order is placed. Results in a written placement plan.
Base Materials
Recommended base materials are listed in the planning document so the foundation can be prepared before the fountain arrives. No separate purchase needed to determine this.
What to Expect
A fountain project involves more decisions than most garden purchases. Here is how the process unfolds — described clearly so you know what each stage involves before you begin.
A description of the space — size, what surrounds the proposed location, access to water and power. Photographs are helpful at this stage.
We work through placement, water supply, base requirements, and surrounding stonework. You receive a written planning document outlining the recommended approach.
The fountain arrives with the specification sheet, planning document, and recommended base material list. Each piece is described clearly so the installation can proceed calmly.
The fountain is sited following the planning document. Follow-up guidance for seasonal upkeep is included. Questions after installation are welcome and answered specifically.

¥29,500
For the fountain, planning consultation, and all documentation.
A stone fountain is a considered purchase, and the planning consultation is included specifically because placement makes the difference between a fountain that works and one that doesn't. That judgment is part of what you are paying for.
If you would like to talk through the project before deciding, write to us. There is no commitment in asking, and the conversation helps both sides understand whether this is the right fit.
What's Included
Natural-stone granite fountain
Basin and spout in natural granite, finished for outdoor permanence. Dimensions and weight noted in the specification sheet.
Planning consultation
A focused conversation about your garden covering placement, sightlines, water supply approach, and base requirements.
Written planning document
The recommended placement approach in writing, including base material requirements and surrounding stonework notes.
Recommended base materials list
A clear list of what to source for the foundation, so preparation can happen before the fountain arrives.
Seasonal upkeep guidance
Notes on how to care for the fountain through different seasons, including winter preparation where relevant.
Follow-up guidance after installation
Questions after the fountain is in place are welcome. We respond with specific answers to your situation, not generic references.
What to Expect Over Time
First season
The fountain runs quietly and the stone looks as supplied. Surface water marks on granite dry without staining. The pump requires periodic cleaning — the seasonal guidance covers this with a clear schedule.
Two to five years
The stone develops a consistent weathered surface — slightly darker in wet areas, more settled in tone overall. Moss may establish in shaded spots. The basin and spout remain structurally unchanged. The fountain has begun to look as though it belongs.
Long term
A well-sited granite fountain becomes a fixed point in a garden's character. Visitors who see it later are sometimes surprised to learn it was placed recently — which is the quality most associated with good natural stone. The pump may require servicing over this period; the stone itself does not.
A Note on Realistic Expectations
A fountain changes the feeling of a garden. It does not change its underlying conditions — drainage, soil, light — and those factors still govern what will grow well nearby. The planning consultation will address any relevant considerations specific to your garden so that placement decisions are made with clear information.
Our Commitment
At this price point, a conversation before the decision is not an optional extra — it is how we work. We want to understand your garden before we suggest this is the right fit for it. If it isn't, we'll say so and explain why. If it is, the planning consultation that follows will reflect that understanding.
If the fountain arrives with a quality concern — surface damage in transit, anything inconsistent with what was described — we address it directly. Natural variation in granite is communicated clearly before purchase; structural or quality issues are not in that category.
After installation, follow-up questions are part of what you receive. The seasonal upkeep guidance sets out what to expect; we are here if something falls outside that.
Pre-purchase conversation included
We confirm fit before the order is placed. The consultation starts here — not after you have committed.
Fountain described accurately before purchase
Dimensions, weight, and finish are stated clearly. Natural stone variation is noted; anything beyond that is a concern to resolve.
Support through the seasons
Seasonal guidance covers what to expect through the year. Questions at any point receive direct, specific answers.
How to Begin
Describe the space — where the fountain might go, how the garden is currently arranged, and what you are hoping the fountain will do for the space. Photographs help considerably at this stage.
Within two working days, a reply assessing the fit — whether a fountain of this scale suits your space, what placement might look like, and any questions that would help us advise more specifically.
The initial conversation carries no obligation. When you are ready to proceed, the planning consultation is the next step — and the fountain follows from there.
